Claudia Goebl Claudia Goebl works as a singer and mental coach and has been teaching the elective Mental Coaching at the Department of Voice and Musical Theatre at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since the summer semester of 2024.

She trained in singing, song and opera here at the institute with KS Edith Lienbacher, KS Robert Holl and Prof. David Lutz. She also studied musicology at the University of Vienna, completed a course in marketing and sales at the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and trained as a certified mental coach at the Vitalakademie in Linz.

The soprano feels most at home in operetta and art song. Engagements have taken her to the Vienna Volksoper, the Helsinki National Opera, the Landestheater Linz, the Bühne Baden and various Austrian festivals such as the Schlossfestspiele Langenlois, the Oper Burg Gars and the jOPERA jennersdorf festival sommer, where she often portrayed lively stage characters. Her concert partners include the Tonkünstler Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra, the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra, András Schiff with the franz ensemble and the TrioVanBeethoven. In the field of mental training, she specialises in the areas of fear of self-marketing as an artist and stage fright.
