Presenting GUEST ARTIST #2: Matias Giuliani & Silvina Zicolillo (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
What happens when listening becomes uncertain—when voices blur, and clarity dissolves?
In their contribution to AUDIO GHOSTS, artists Matias Giuliani and Silvina Zicolillo explore the veiled, the interrupted, and the half-heard. Their work questions how we relate to incomplete sonic impressions and the imaginative processes that fill in what cannot be fully perceived.
At the opening, the live performance UN SOLO TEXTO Y UNA SOLA VOZ (“A single text and a single voice”) investigates the auditory confusion between two voices. The installation RÉPÉTITION invites reflection on the unheard—the sound that is sensed yet remains elusive. The program also includes the premiere of n. n., a new quadrophonic electroacoustic composition.
