2. How do I voluntarily switch to the new system?

A voluntary transfer to the Bachelor's programme for the relevant instrument is possible during the admissions period (for the 2025 winter semester: 18 August to 3 October 2025). Please send us the completed form ‘Übertritt_allgemein’ together with the form ‘Semestermeldung’ (both forms are available for download) for further processing.

A transfer to the Master's programme is not possible; admission to a Master's programme requires a completed Bachelor's or Diploma degree in a relevant subject and an entrance examination must be taken in all cases.
