auch in diesem Sommer gibt es wieder zahlreiche Neuigkeiten! Vor allem dürfen wir zu einer besonders großen Anzahl von aktuell neu bewilligten Forschungsprojekten gratulieren und Sie zu einem Event im Rahmen der isaResearch Summer School einladen. Mit großer Freude dürfen wir gleich mehrere Bewilligungen von herausragenden Forschungsprojekten der mdw durch den FWF bekanntgeben:
Herzlichen Glückwunsch auch an Michaela Hahn zur Förderung einer europaweiten Partnerschaft im Programm Erasmus+ „Co-Connecting Early Childhood Music Education - Towards Systems Thinking in European Music Institutions“, mit der frühe musikalische Bildung in Europa gestärkt werden soll. Im Rahmen der isaResearch Summer School laden wir Sie herzlich zum Gastvortrag "'Noise Not Music‘? Urban Sound Between Participation and Disturbance" von Kai Ginkel (Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz) ein, der am 22.07.2025 um 18:00 Uhr im Bankettsaal mit anschließender Diskussion und Empfang stattfinden wird. Wir freuen uns auf Ihre Teilnahme! Seit Jänner 2024 ist die mdw Teil der European Universities Alliance IN.TUNE, der ersten und einzigen Universitäten-Allianz im Bereich Musik und Kunst. Gemeinsam mit unseren Partnerinstitutionen entwickeln wir neue Lehr- und Lernformate sowie innovative Weiterbildungs- und Vernetzungsangebote. Abonnieren Sie gerne hier den IN.TUNE-Newsletter, der alle zwei Monate über Entwicklungen in der Allianz informiert. Nun ist auch der erste IN.TUNE Knowledge Hub eröffnet und lädt hier zur aktiven Mitgestaltung ein. Am 3.–4.11.2025 findet in Wien das erste Annual IN.TUNE Research Event (AIRE) statt, das von der ersten Working Group im Rahmen von WP4, „Strengthening our Research Dimension“ (Chair: Alex Hofmann, Institut für musikalische Akustik) koordiniert wird. Last but not least eine Ankündigung für Herbst 2025: Die Forschungsförderung plant für das Wintersemester 2025/26 die Ausschreibung eines neuen Calls für transdisziplinäre Forschungsprojekte an der mdw. There is a lot of news again this summer! Above all, we would like to congratulate you on a particularly large number of newly approved research projects and invite you to an event as part of the isaResearch Summer School. Urban Sound Between Participation and Disturbance" by Kai Ginkel (Anton Bruckner Private University Linz), which will take place on 22 July 2025 at 18:00 hrs in the banquet hall, followed by a discussion and reception. We look forward to your participation! Since January 2024, the mdw has been part of the European Universities Alliance IN.TUNE, the first and only university alliance in the field of music and art. Together with our partner institutions, we develop new teaching and learning formats as well as innovative further education and networking programmes. You can subscribe to the IN.TUNE newsletter here, which provides information about developments in the alliance every two months. The first IN.TUNE Knowledge Hub is now open and invites you here to actively participate.
