Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wir hoffen, Sie sind am Ende dieses Semesters wohlauf! Wir haben wieder einige Neuigkeiten für Sie: Ganz aktuell wurde der Call for Papers zur isaScience 2022, die unter dem Titel „Un/Learning. Norms and Routines in Cultural Practice“ von 31.8. bis 4.9.2022 bewährterweise in Reichenau/Rax stattfindet, veröffentlicht. Wir freuen uns auf zahlreiche Einreichungen von Forschenden der mdw bis zum 31.3.2022 und bitten Sie um Weiterverbreitung des Calls in Ihren Netzwerken! Wir möchten Sie auch an den diesjährigen AR Pilot Call (Deadline 28.3.2022) erinnern und alle Interessierten zu einer informellen Q&A Session am 1.3.2022, 13:00 – 14:00 Uhr einladen. Außerdem freuen wir uns, dass die Publikationsförderung für Nachwuchswissenschaftler_innen an der mdw im März 2022 erneut ausgeschrieben wird. Für Rückfragen stehen wir gerne zur Verfügung! Save the Date: Am 8.6.2022 um 17 Uhr wird die Rektorin der mdw zum zweiten Mal den Herta und Kurt Blaukopf-Award für herausragende Dissertationen an der mdw bei einem Festakt verleihen. Der Österreichische Wissenschaftsfonds FWF hat den FWF-Datenmanagementplan-Leitfaden und die Vorlage aktualisiert, die in allen Forschungsprojekten und Sammlungen auch jenseits einer FWF Förderung verwenden werden können. Das Projektservice informiert gerne! Diese und andere relevanten Themen werden anwendungsorientiert in einem gemeinsam mit dem Zentrum für Weiterbildung organisierten Workshop zu mdwRepository Services am 8.3.2022, 09:00-12:00 Uhr behandelt, zu dem wir alle Interessierten herzlich einladen. Gerne informieren wir auch über die neue Möglichkeit, bei hochdotierten Förderschienen, in denen die mdw als Hauptantragstellerin bzw. Trägerforschungsstätte agiert, insbesondere ERC, FWF Start Programm, MSCA Doctoral Networks, eine mdw-interne Förderung für externe Expertise von bis zu € 2.000 zu beantragen (nähere Infos zu mdw-internen Förderungen). Seit Kurzem ist der Podcast „Klingende Zeitgeschichte“ auf der mdwMediathek verfügbar: Unter Beteiligung von vier Instituten sowie dem Archiv der mdw entstand ein mehrteiliger Podcast, der Original-Dokumente aus dem mdw Archiv akustisch in Szene setzt. Dear colleagues, We hope you are well at the end of this semester! We have some news for you again: The call for papers for isaScience 2022, which takes place from August 31 to September 4, 2022 in Reichenau/Rax under the title, "Un/Learning. Norms and Routines in Cultural Practice", has just been published. We look forward to receiving numerous submissions from mdw researchers by 31.3.2022 and would like to ask you to spread the word about the call in your networks! We would also like to remind you of this year's Artistic Research Pilot Call of the mdw (deadline 28.3.2022) and to invite you to an informal Q&A Session on 1.3.2022, 13:00 – 14:00. We are happy to announce that the publication funding for young researchers at the mdw will be published again in March 2022. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions! Save the Date: On 8.6.2022 at 17:00, the Rector of mdw will present for the second time the Herta and Kurt Blaukopf Award for outstanding dissertations at the mdw. The Austrian Science Fund FWF has updated its Data Management Plan Guidance and Template, which can be used in all research projects and collections even beyond FWF funding. The Project Service will be happy to provide further information! These and other relevant topics will be covered in a workshop on mdwRepository Services organised in cooperation with the Centre for Further Education on 8.3.2022, 09:00-12:00, to which we cordially invite all who are interested. We are also pleased to inform you about the new possibility to apply for mdw-internal funding of up to € 2,000 for external expertise supporting mdw-led project applications in prestigious, high-value programmes, in particular ERC, FWF Start Programme, MSCA Doctoral Networks (more information). The podcast "Klingende Zeitgeschichte" has recently been made available on the mdwMediathek: With the participation of four departments and the mdw archive, a multi-part podcast was created that acoustically presents original documents from the mdw archive.
