Department of Organizational Development

 

The main focus of the Department of Organizational Development is to support projects and to participate in and contribute to the development of university strategy and development processes.

Central to this is the improvement of structures, interfaces, and processes within the university.

Change management support

We are happy to assist you with long-term change processes – in the context of university-wide structures, mission statements, and strategies. This may include structural issues and process optimization.

As an internal support service, we also involve external experts on an ad hoc basis to provide you with the best possible assistance. At the heart of this joint effort is cross-departmental collaboration and the participation of all those involved.

Structural development

In collaboration with the Vice-Rector for Organizational Development and Diversity, we proactively initiate the development of structures and processes. The focus is on improving communication structures, information flow, and work processes.

We consider it essential to ensure the transfer of knowledge in the event of changes.

Cross-university project management and support

We take on the coordination role for selected cross-university projects, such as the HRS4R.

Advising project managers at various stages of their projects is another area of responsibility for organizational development at the mdw.
