Elizabete Sirante is a pianist, accompanist and vocal coach with extensive international experience in opera and musical theatre. She studied piano and accompaniment at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (Master of Music) and at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in Riga. She received artistic inspiration from the Franz Schubert Institute in Baden near Vienna and from masterclasses with Julius Drake, Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignoles, Ian Bostridge and other internationally renowned artists. 

From 2019 to 2022, she was director of studies at the Kammeroper Wien / Theater an der Wien, where she provided musical supervision for opera productions, concerts and projects by the Junges Ensemble. Prior to that, she worked for many years as a senior lecturer for accompaniment and singing at the Conservatori Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo in València. Further engagements have taken her to the Auditorio de Tenerife, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía and international festivals and masterclasses in Europe and Canada.

During her artistic career, Elizabete Sirante has worked with numerous renowned conductors, including Andris Nelsons, Zubin Mehta, Alberto Zedda, Omer Meir Wellber, Cornelius Meister and Karel Mark Chichon. As a vocal coach and pianist, she has worked with internationally renowned singers such as Elīna Garanča, Bryn Terfel, Kristine Opolais, Günther Groissböck, Iréne Theorin, Ekaterina Gubanova, Dmitry Korchak and others.

A particular focus of her work lies in the stylistically differentiated coaching of singers in the opera and song repertoire, as well as in the close connection between language, musical interpretation and scenic expression. In addition to her extensive opera work, she regularly performs in recitals and chamber music projects. Since March 2026, Elizabete Sirante has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Voice and Musical Theatre at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
