Armin Bammer Armin Bammer was born in Vienna in 1964 and, after graduating from high school, studied law at the University of Vienna, where he obtained his doctorate in law in 1990. After working as a trainee lawyer, as an assistant at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law and as head of the legal department of the General Secretariat of the Austrian Federal Theatre Association, he set up his own law practice in Vienna in 1994.
Dr. Bammer has been a lecturer at the University of Vienna for over 30 years, teaching subjects including copyright and cultural law, and has been a lecturer in law at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna for over 20 years. His professional focus includes copyright, labour law, cultural law and stage law. He works as both a contract lawyer and a trial lawyer. Dr Bammer represents performing and visual artists, collecting societies and rights holders, as well as works councils of theatre companies.
