Invitation to the first edition of an interdisciplinary festival at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The 12 students of the Master’s programme in Contemporary Arts Practice (CAP) invite you to attend the presentation of the master’s projects they have developed over the past two years.

The range of works spans from transmedial performances and new concert formats to sound installations and a participatory jam session.

Over four days, the Klangtheater will offer plenty to see, hear, feel—and participate in. Including myths, witches, death, and revenge. Community and connections with the tiniest of creatures. Earth, leaves, rhythms and realities of life, and reflections on bodies, belonging, and solidarity.

Arts Practice Festival (German Version)

Einladung zur ersten Ausgabe eines interdisziplinären Festivals an der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Die 12 Studierenden des Masterstudiengangs Contemporary Arts Practice (CAP) laden zur Präsentation ihrer in den letzten 2 Jahren erarbeiteten Masterprojekte ein.

Die Bandbreite reicht von transmedialen Performances über neue Konzertformate bis hin zu Klanginstallationen und einer partizipativen Jam Session.

An insgesamt 4 Tagen gibt es im Klangtheater viel zu sehen, hören, spüren – und mitzumachen. Es geht um Mythen, Hexen, Tod und Rache. Um Gemeinschaft und Verbindungen mit ganz kleinen Lebewesen. Um Erde, Blätter, Lebenstempi und -realitäten und um Körper, Heimat und Solidarität.
