The first meeting of the recently established international Advisory Board of the MMRC took place on July 15, 2019. The World Conference of the International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) in Bangkok, Thailand, provided the appropriate environment. In addition to details on the orientation of the MMRC in terms of content, plans for research projects and cooperations to be realized in the future were addressed.
