Anne-Suse Enßle was born in Backnang, Germany in 1988.
From 2007 to 2014 she studied at the music university, „Mozarteum“ in Salzburg with Professor Dorothee Oberlinger. From 2012 to 2015 she was also studying in Vienna at mdw with Professor Carsten Eckert.
Furthermore she studied Baroque Bassoon with Jennifer Harris (Konservatorium Wien).
Apart from working as a solist, she performs in several chamber music groups e.g. „Duo Enßle-Lamprecht“, a recorder and percussion duo that focuses both on contemporary and medieval music.
2013 she was winner of the Moeck/SR P competition in London and furthermore one of three finalists in the „Casinos Austria Rising Star Award“ competition.
2015 she has been awarded the Honorary Price for her final exam at mdw.
She has been supported by scholarships by University Mozarteum, by the Royichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund, the Yehudi-Menuhin Found and the PE-Found Mannheim (Germany).
As she focusses on contemporary and ancient music she was invited by festivals like ERPS-Biennale, PODIUM-Festival, Festival europäische Kirchenmusik Schwäbisch Gmünd, Bad Arolser Barockfestspiele, Innsbruck Barock, Greenwich Early Music Festival and Bachfest Leipzig.
