The mdw is launching a new annual series of events in October. The first event will focus on “Career paths in science and the arts.” The focus will be on career paths and profiles, as well as influencing factors and support measures.
Giuliana Sabbatini will talk about developments in the European Research and Higher Education Area and current challenges for career development at universities.
The discussion will focus on the following questions:
- What are the opportunities and challenges in career and personnel structure planning at the mdw and beyond?
- What (institutional) conditions are necessary to enable the transparent design of career levels and paths for artists and scientists?
- Are non-linear career paths sufficiently recognized, and what new skills are in demand?
