Die Rektorin der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien verleiht am Mittwoch, 17. Juni 2026 um 17:00 Uhr zum dritten Mal den Herta & Kurt Blaukopf Award für herausragende Dissertationen an der mdw. Diese Auszeichnung dient der Sichtbarmachung besonderer Leistungen im Rahmen des wissenschaftlichen Doktoratsstudiums und der Förderung von Early-Stage Researchers für ihre weitere akademische Laufbahn.

• Isabel Frey: „Vocal Yiddishkeit. Postvernacular Transmission and Performance of Yiddish Folksong“ (sdp - Structured Doctoral Programme "Music Matters")

Invitation to the Awards Ceremony Herta & Kurt Blaukopf Award for Outstanding Dissertations at the mdw

For the third time, the Rector of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna will be presenting the Herta & Kurt Blaukopf Award for outstanding dissertations at the mdw on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at 5 pm. The award serves to highlight extraordinary achievements in the context of academic doctoral studies and to support early-stage researchers in their subsequent academic careers.
