Dear colleagues and friends of isaScience,

we are excited to announce the programme of this year's hybrid conference entitled "Sonic Ties: Rethinking Communities and Collectives". From 26-30 August 2023 we gather once again in Reichenau/Rax and are, additionally, celebrating 10 years isaScience.

The conference programme starts on the morning of 27 August 2023 and will be live-streamed throughout the following three days. With ‘Sonic Ties’ as a lens to study the connections and intersubjectivities arising through sound, isaScience 2023 explores modes of sharing communality and experiencing collectivity through music, dance, and other phenomena of performance and cultural expression. 26 international and interdisciplinary contributions will address ‘Sonic Ties’ from a wide range of perspectives. Browse the abstracts and learn about the participants on our website.
