Start of INTERNATIONAL PRE-SELECTIONS
259 applicants from 43 nations have applied for the 14th International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna which takes place this year between June 10th and 20th.
Of these applicants 36 young pianists will be selected at international auditions to present their mastery in Vienna.
The international pre-selections start on January 31st in Tokyo and will be held in February also in New York City, London, Paris, Berlin, Bonn and Vienna.
The names of the 36 participants who are invited to compete in Vienna in June will be presented on March 15th, 2013 |
