About Philip Feeney

Philip Feeney is a renowned composer for dance; his works have been performed by diverse companies across the world. He is a cornerstone of the creative process in schools and for ballet companies, regularly taking part in the studio and on stage. He has been practicing professional improvisation for over thirty years, in particular with relation to dance and movement. In a fascinating study of the choices and techniques entailed in the craft of improvisation, he will embark upon an exploration of the two sides of the improvisatory aesthetic. In this sense the participants access a type of real world experience for accompanying movement.
