PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND SIMPOSIA: 

Participation at national and international scholarly meetings of musicologists and ethnomusicologists, including national (USSR) conferences in Tbilisi, Kiev, Tashkent, Saint Petersburg, and also at international conferences in the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography, and international conferences “Problems of Traditional Polyphony”, held in Borjomi (1984, 1986), and Tbilisi (1988, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010). Participation at the international conference of European traditional multipart singing in Viena “European Voices II”, 2008. He was also a member of the Organizing Committee of Borjomi (1984, 1986) and Tbilisi (1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010) conferences on traditional polyphony.
