The 4th International Otto Edelmann Singing Competition-Vienna was prevented from 02nd till 21th of August 2016.

This wear will see the International Otto Edelmann Singing Competition-Vienna take place for the fourth time with the Department of Voice and Music Theatre at the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as its host. This competition is directed at outstandingly talented opera- and operetta-trained syoung singers from all over the world.

In all 92 participants (19-30 years) have entered from 31 countries (therefrom 10 partisipants of isaOperaVienna).
