Education: Studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien- Voice training (Prof. H. Karusso), song and oratorio (Dr. Roman Ortner) as well as opera (Prof. Möller, Prof. Zimmerl) - diplomas with distinction.. Private studies with Enza Ferrari in Italy (and bel canto role study).
Competition winner: Mario del Monaco / Italy, Opera en Belcanto / Belgium and Dr. Luis Sigall / Chile.
1986 International breakthrough with a jump-as Amelia in "Ballo in Maschera" at the Vienna State Opera with Luciano Pavarotti as a partner and Claudio Abbado as conductor. Live Opera transmission throughout Europe.
Many years as an ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, the Graz Opera and the Zurich Opera House as light dramatic soprano in many Verdi - Puccini, - Wagner and Richard Strauss productions.
Appearances in all international opera and concert halls (UVA, Wiener Musikverein, Konzerthaus Vienna and Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin and Cologne, Tonhalle Zurich, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Rome, Beethovenhalle Bonn, Radio France Paris, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), at the major festivals such as the Salzburger Festspiele , Wiener Festwochen, Carinthian Summer, Prague Spring, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, etc.
Cooperation with more than 120 conductors: Abbado, Barenboim, Bernstein, von Dohnanyi, Karajan, Luisi, Maazel, Mehta, Sinopoli, Plasson, Thielemann, Viotti, Welser-Möst and the following directors: copper, Berghaus, Wilson, Hollmann, Corti, Lievi, del Monaco, Palmer, de Bosio, Miller, Lehnhoff and Corsaro.
