Voice

Born in Wiener Neustadt, musical secondary school, studies: Pedagogy and Vocal Performance, culture management in Hamburg, Doctor of Philosophy with a dissertation about the singer's profession, completed all studies with honours; courses: operetta, church music/organ and further education for adults; attended master classes of Prof. Cornelius Reid and Prof. Noelle Turner (musical); private lessons with Prof. Helga Meyer-Wagner.

First engagements: Volksoper Vienna, Salzburger Festspiele; currently works as a soloist in the branch of oratory, Lied and church music) - e.g. "Lieder aus Wien" (Wellesz) with pianist Margarete Babinsky in the concert hall Berlin (German broadcast), "Die schöne Magelone" (Brahms) with pianist Nina Paul, several performances of the "Reisebuch aus den österreichischen Alpen" (Krenek) with pianist Ines Schüttengruber, baritone solo in "Carmina Burana" (Orff), bass solo in "The Messiah" (Händel) in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Music Society; baritone solo ("Deutsches Requiem" by Brahms in the Vienna concert hall. Several performances in opera, operettas (e.g. the hawk in "Die Fledermaus") and musicals.

Teaching activity: voice - music schools in Lower Austria; since 2002 lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna; Department of Voice and Musical Theatre, 2014: post-doctoral qualification (Habilitation), Professor, member of the senate; until 2014: Vienna Conservatory (Department Solo and Musical), also pedagogical subjects, master classes in Austria and Japan, jury member of various competitions; vice president of the European Voice Teachers Association (EVTA); research about the singers' training and the artistic vocational field; experience as a manager: for instance in 2012 - led own agency and the master classes Gutenstein; until 2014: helped to found the Private University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna; lecturer i.e. at the Donau-University Krems.

Trainer and book author about games, Ludo-Hartmann-Förderungspreis 2009.
