STEPHAN MÖLLER-SPAEMANN

Born in Hamburg. Diplomas in piano and conducting at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Third prize at the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna in 1985. “Great Artist Award” of the Beethoven Society for Pianists (USA), 1996. From 1983 to 1989 assistant to Herbert von Karajan at the Salzburg Festival.

Concerts and master classes throughout Europe, in the US, Japan, and China. Emphasis on the 32 piano sonatas and 5 piano concertos of Ludwig van Beethoven as well as the complete piano works of Richard Wagner.

Has taught at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna since 1990. President of the Vienna International Pianists" Society. In 1999 founded the "VIP Academy" (master classes for young pianists).
