Musical education at what is today the Music University in Vienna.

For many years the solo coach of the Vienna State Opera and assistant at the Bayreuth Festival.

Prize-winner at the Karl Böhm Conducting Competition.

Engagements in Germany and Austria as opera conductor (1987-1994 at the Volksoper in Vienna), concert activities with symphony orchestras in Europe and Asia, founding member of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra.

Song accompanist for well-known singers (Salzburg Festival), radio and television productions, CD recordings.

Starting in 1995 guest professor, in 1996 regular professor for choral coaching at the Music University in Vienna.
